This cinnamon-pear non-alcoholic mimosa recipe is made with a simple homemade cinnamon and pear mixture and Odd Bird Blanc De Blancs Alcohol removed sparkling wine. It is lightly sweetened, bubbly, and the perfect way to celebrate any special occasion (or just because!) without the alcohol.
A traditional mimosa is made with orange juice and champagne and is often served at breakfast or brunch. Although it typically has alcohol in it, there are various ways you can omit the booze and still enjoy a mimosa. Some non-alcoholic mimosas feature sparkling water in place of the champagne but if you want the mimosa to mirror the real thing, a non-alcoholic sparkling wine is the way to go!
My favorite is the Odd Bird Blanc De Blancs alcohol -removed wine. It is dry, complex, and bubbly. You can shop this non-alcoholic sparkling wine on The Zero Proof’s website. They carry a variety of alcohol-free options, including wines and spirits. Save 15 percent off your order with my code THERECIPEPRESS15.
And instead of using orange juice, a homemade pear and cinnamon juice is used to create a lightly sweet and crisp mimosa. I went with using whole pears and making my own juice because pear juice can be hard to find in grocery stores. However, you can use store bought pear juice if you wish! The directions for making these mimosas with pear juice is below.

Ingredients you need to make this alcohol-free mimosa
Whole Pears: You will need about 2 whole pears to make this cinnamon-pear mimosa. Pears are easy to find in the grocery stores in the fall and winter months. You can use pear juice instead of fresh pears if you wish. To make this swap, add the about 2 cups of pear juice with the cinnamon sticks to the saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 8-10 minutes. Let cool, then discard the cinnamon sticks. Chill the cinnamon pear juice in the refrigerator until ready to prepare the mimosas.
Honey: A little of honey added to the pear mixture gives it just a touch of sweetness.
Water: You will need some water to mix with the pear puree to create the cinnamon pear juice.
Cinnamon Sticks: 2 whole cinnamon sticks simmered with the pear puree gives this mimosa the perfect amount of warm spice. In a pinch, you could use about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in place of the cinnamon sticks.
Odd Bird Blanc De Blancs: This sparkling alcohol-removed wine is the key to achieving this refreshing and bubbly mimosa! You could swap for another alcohol-free sparkling wine/champagne, but I highly recommend going with the Odd Bird Blanc De Blancs!

Tips and tricks when making this cinnamon pear mimosa
- Chill all the ingredients! Make sure the pear-cinnamon juice, and Odd Bird Blanc De Blancs well before making the mimosas. No need to chill the glasses as it can actually dilute the mimosa.
- Use champagne flutes for best results. They allow for the bubbles to rise. But you could switch up the cups to whatever you have on hand.
- No need to peel the pears before cutting up and blending. You can save time by just removing the seeds and core of the pears and then placing them into a food processor or blender. After the pears simmer down with the cinnamon and water, you will strain it to remove any chunks.
