What you need to make this festive drink
Gnista Non-Alcoholic Spirit: This alcohol-free style bourbon is the key to making this festive drink. It adds depth and slightly smokey flavor. Gnista is amazing in NA drinks such as this festive cranberry and rosemary bourbon style fizz but is good just poured over ice!
Cranberry Juice: A pure cranberry juice is best in this festive drink. There is enough sugar in the rosemary simple syrup to offset the tartness of the cranberry juice, so you do not have to go with a high sugar juice, such as cranberry juice cocktails.
Rosemary Simple Syrup: The rosemary simple syrup is made up of just three ingredients. Water, fresh rosemary sprigs, and honey. The aroma of the rosemary will get infused into the simple syrup. Easy but brings so much flavor and a touch of honey sweetness.
Ginger Beer: Ginger beer adds a touch of ginger flavor and gives this festive drink its fizz. You can replace the ginger beer with just seltzer water if you wish.

Tips and tricks
- You can get the most flavor from the rosemary sprigs by gently rubbing the rosemary or by placing the rosemary on a cutting board and carefully whack it with the back of a knife. It might seem crazy, but it will help release more flavor from the rosemary before adding it the simple syrup. Forget this step? Don’t worry, it will still be full of rosemary flavor.
- After the simple syrup is done simmering, turn off the heat and let it all cool together in the saucepan. Do not remove the rosemary for at least 10 minutes to get the most out of the woody herb.
- If you have leftover simple syrup (which you will if you are only making 1-2 drinks), store it in the fridge in an airtight container for about 2 weeks. You can use it to make more cranberry and rosemary fizz’s or in other recipes.
- You can get about 4 drinks out of the rosemary simple syrup so make sure to increase the recipe if making for large group of people.
