Tips and tricks to making this Halloween Sangria
- It is best if you can mix all the ingredients together in a large pitcher and then place it in the fridge to marinate the flavors together for at least one hour. If you are short on time, you do less time, but they flavors might not be as developed.
- If you chose to use ice in your cups, I highly recommend making the ice in advance using pomegranate juice or Oddbird red wine. This way, the sangria does not become watered down. You can even use a Halloween themed ice cube tray, such as ghost or skull shapes, to make this non-alcoholic even spookier!
- If you like sparking sangria, top off a poured glass of the sangria with sparking water. You can use plain or flavored if you wish.
- Store this Halloween sangria in the fridge for up to two days.

Ingredient substitutions and variations
Due to the limited ingredients used to make this non-alcoholic sangria, there are not a lot of substitutions. But here a few if needed!
Fresh Blackberries: Fresh blackberries are ideal for this sangria, but you can swap them for frozen if needed. You can use the frozen in the blackberry simple syrup as well as the sangria.
Blood Oranges: You can substitute the blood oranges for navel oranges.
Black grapes: You can use moon drop or tear drop grapes in place of the black grapes. Another option would be to replace the grapes with blueberries.
